The End Came, and Then There Were Miracles

Greetings from the great, green state of Minnesota!

THE END OF THE MATTER:

Last you heard from me I was in Ukraine, in the final week of YWAM Vienna's first-ever DTS outreach. It ended up being the most difficult part of the school for me, because for those ten days, I was the only staff- something that I was very apprehensive about. And in all honesty, my apprehensions turned out to be kinda valid. It was pretty overwhelming to do the workload of two staff by myself, as well as managing students without the support of a co-leader to back me up.

However, those ten days ended, and after we left Ukraine and outreach was over, I got to be done leading. A few days of teaching followed in Amsterdam and Iceland, and after that we went home to Vienna for some debriefing and the students' graduation! DTS Vienna 2016: successfully completed!

IT'S A MIRACLE!! TWO OF THEM!

Just days before I left Vienna for the summer, the body of Christ in Austria had its 3rd annual Jesus March- an event where believers of all nationalities and denominations living in Austria rally together in unity, loudly celebrating with banners, singing, cheering, and a 2-hour march through the streets of a city. After the marching part of the event was an outdoor worship and fellowship time with booths and a stage. YWAM, of course, had one, too.

Aaanyway, the coolest thing happened! One of my recently-graduated students and I were asked to

come pray for people to be healed- so we did. And... the people were healed! *Snap* just like that! The lady I prayed for got her hearing restored in a deaf ear- she even kept testing it because we were all so incredulous. My student prayed for a busted leg and the leg was healed. Whaa?! I've seen this happen before, but my student hadn't, and she was beside herself with excitement.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT:

Soon after, I returned home for the summer, where I had a couple weeks of much-needed respite, was a bridesmaid in a close friend's wedding, and am now working and saving up for the fall, when I return to Vienna.

Because I am crazy enough to do all this again. ;-)

The adventure continues!
